DERTON Virtual Try-On — Terms of Service
Effective date: October 13, 2026
These Terms apply to merchants that install or use DERTON Virtual Try-On and to shoppers who use its try-on experience in a participating online store. DERTON is operated by KANON Systems, Inc.
Using DERTON
DERTON lets a shopper select a supported store product and submit a photograph to create an AI-generated visualisation of that product on the photograph. The merchant chooses whether to install and enable the app. Shoppers choose whether to use the try-on feature and which photograph to provide.
Merchant responsibilities
The merchant is responsible for its store, catalog, product and variant information, product images, prices, availability, advertising, checkout, sales, order acceptance, fulfilment, returns and customer service. The merchant must have the rights and permissions needed to provide its catalog materials to DERTON and must use the app lawfully. DERTON does not sell the merchant's products or fulfil orders.
Photographs and privacy
A shopper should submit only a photograph they are entitled to use. DERTON processes the photograph and the selected product information to generate and show the try-on result. Image processing may involve technology providers as described in the DERTON Privacy Policy.
Original photographs and successful results are available during an active session. When a session ends, access to its images is revoked and DERTON's cleanup process removes them from working storage. Cleanup can require further processing if a file cannot be removed on the first attempt. Closing the try-on window alone does not end a session. Some images from unsuccessful generations may be retained for technical diagnostics as described in the Privacy Policy. Access to those diagnostic images expires after 72 hours. They then become eligible for automatic deletion by scheduled media maintenance. A technical error may delay physical deletion while cleanup is retried, so removal may occur later than 72 hours, as described in the Privacy Policy. Other service records may be retained as described there or where needed for security, business records or legal obligations.
AI visualisations
A try-on result is an AI-generated visualisation for reference. It is not a measurement, fit assessment or guarantee that a garment's colour, size, fit, material or appearance will match the result or the shopper in person. Shoppers should rely on the merchant's product details and sizing information when deciding whether to buy.
Acceptable use
Do not use DERTON to break the law, infringe another person's rights, submit images without the necessary permission, interfere with the service or attempt to access another shopper's session or images. Merchants and shoppers must follow the terms and policies of the platform and store through which they access DERTON.
Fees and payment
Any applicable merchant fees and payment terms are shown when the merchant selects a plan through the relevant platform or are set out in another written agreement before the merchant agrees to them. Platform terms govern billing and payment processing. These Terms do not set a Wix plan or price.
Availability and ending use
DERTON depends on online services and technology providers, so parts of the service may be unavailable or changed from time to time. A merchant can stop using the app by uninstalling it through the relevant platform. A shopper can end an active try-on session using the session controls provided in the experience. Data access and deletion are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable platform requirements.
